I offer several types of yoga
- Vinyasa/power yoga – a dynamic and vibrant style of yoga that builds lean muscle, endurance, improves flexibility, increases range of motion, improves breath capacity, and focus
- Restorative yoga – this is a more gentle and slower paced style where poses are held for several minutes without muscle engagement, encouraging the warming and loosening of fascia. This greatly improves mobility and brings about a deep sense of calm and grounding
- Yoga HIIT – a style I created myself to meet the needs of so many of my clients, this form of yoga uses strength and resistance training within power yoga poses. The HIIT element comes from the timed nature of the class. It is fun, challenging, while still providing opportunities for stillness and reflection. Can be done with or without weights. All exercises are done breath-to-movement
- Sculpt – this is similar to yoga HIIT, but without the timed component. Resistance training is done within yoga poses, working your entire body and mind. Just like HIIT, meditation, reflection, and breath continue to play a vital role
- Prenatal yoga – your prenatal yoga class will vary depending on your how active your pregnancy is/has been, what you are looking for during your pregnancy, what trimester you are in, as well as your general health and wellbeing. Any of the above styles can be tailored to suit pregnancy
